Padelcademy (web app at padelcademy.com) is offered by Daniel Woller, sole trader, Stöckachstr. 60, 97249 Eisingen, Germany, email kontakt@padelcademy.com (see legal notice).
These terms apply to the free use of Padelcademy, with and without an account. For the paid offering Padelcademy Pro, separate terms will apply in addition once it can be purchased; they are shown to you before a purchase. Deviating terms of users do not apply.
Padelcademy offers content and tools about padel: drills and training series, quiz, Padel IQ and daily challenge, coaching topics, tactical principles and plays, rules and referee help, tactics board, training and match logging, analyses, Match Cards, racket finder and friends features.
Padelcademy is being developed further; features may change, be added or be removed. We cannot promise a particular feature or a particular scope of free use permanently. We do not lock content already marked as free without prior notice, and we announce significant changes in the app.
The free features can generally be used without an account. Without an account, progress and entries are stored only in the storage of this browser or device. If you clear browser data, change devices or use a private mode, you may lose this data; we cannot restore it because we never receive it.
An account is free. You create it with an email address and password or by signing in with Google. No payment details are collected when you register. An account is personal; keep your sign-in details secret and let us know if you notice misuse.
With an account, your data is also stored on our server and synced between your devices where the feature supports it. Which data that is, is described in the privacy policy. You can delete your account in the app at any time (Profile → Account).
What you enter in Padelcademy (e.g. matches, trainings, notes, tactics sketches, profile details, fitness values) remains yours. You only grant us the rights needed to store it, show it to you, sync it between your devices and — when you trigger it — share it with others.
Sharing happens only when you act: shared links, images and PDFs, shares with friends and shared matches. Anyone who receives shared content can see it and pass it on. You can withdraw shares with friends in the app; copies already passed on (e.g. a shared image) cannot be recalled by us.
Photos and Match Cards. Only use photos you hold the necessary rights to, for example because you took them yourself. If a photo shows other people, ask them before you share the Match Card; without their consent you are generally not allowed to distribute a picture of a person (§ 22 of the German Art Copyright Act, KUG). The same applies, in a similar way, to other people's names in your entries: only enter what you need. You are responsible for content you share.
Profile photo. The same applies to a profile photo: only upload an image you hold the necessary rights to and that the people shown agree to. We only store it to show it to you and — if you set this — to your confirmed friends. We may remove a profile photo that obviously infringes the rights of others or breaches section 6.
In particular, the following are not allowed: automated extraction of content on a larger scale, circumventing access or quota rules, attacks on the app's security, passing on sign-in details, and unlawful or offensive content or content infringing the rights of others in names, profiles and shares.
In the event of a specific violation we may — in proportion and taking your interests into account — remove content or a share, restrict a feature for your account or block the account. We inform you of this with reasons, unless doing so would jeopardise the investigation.
The content is general training, tactics and rules information. It does not replace personal instruction by qualified coaches or medical advice. Adapt exercises to your ability and capacity; if you have complaints or pre-existing conditions, have the load checked by a doctor beforehand. Padelcademy does not promise any particular health or sporting effect.
Padel IQ, player profiles and analyses are assessments based on your answers and entries, not diagnoses. The racket finder and equipment notes are guidance based on your details; they do not guarantee that a racket suits you or that complaints are avoided. The rule texts are our own summaries in our own words; the official rules of the International Padel Federation (FIP) are authoritative. Padelcademy is not an FIP offering.
We aim for reliable operation but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, for example because of maintenance, disruptions at hosting or database providers or a missing network connection.
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and to the extent of any guarantee given. Otherwise, liability is governed by the statutory provisions.
We only change these terms for a valid reason, for example new features or a change in the law. We announce changes at least four weeks before they take effect in the app and, if you have an account, by email. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using Padelcademy and delete your account.
You can stop using Padelcademy and delete your account at any time. We may discontinue free use with at least four weeks' notice or restrict it for good cause (section 6). Before the service is discontinued we will inform you so that you can save your data.
German law applies. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of that country remain unaffected.
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
