1. Partner codes
Coaches, clubs and other partners can receive their own code as part of a cooperation with us. You enter a partner code yourself and deliberately in the ordering process. Codes from links are not stored and are not automatically assigned to any purchase.
- Model A: 10 % discount. The partner whose code you use receives a commission from us of 10 % of the amount you actually pay. The commission does not change your price.
- Model B: 20 % discount. The partner receives no commission.
You see which model a code has in the order summary before purchase. The discounted amount payable is rounded down to the full cent. This results in: monthly subscription €4.49 (model A) or €3.99 (model B) per month instead of €4.99; 12-month access €35.99 (model A) or €31.99 (model B) instead of €39.99.
When you can redeem a code. Every partner code has a start and an end. You can only redeem it in between and only while our cooperation with the partner exists. We show you until when a code can be redeemed when you enter it ("redeemable until …").
How long the discount applies. The discount applies for twelve months from your first paid payment with the code (discount period): for the monthly subscription to every monthly payment within this period, for the 12-month access to its payment. After that the regular price applies. You see the end of the discount and the price afterwards before purchase and in the contract confirmation. If the cooperation with the partner ends, you still keep your discount for the entire discount period.
Switching between monthly subscription and 12-month access. The discount period belongs to your account; a switch neither restarts nor extends it.
- From monthly subscription to 12-month access: The 12-month access starts at the end of the month you have already paid for (Pro terms, section 6). On the annual price you receive the discount proportionately for the days of the discount period remaining from the start of the 12-month access: amount payable = annual price − discount × remaining discount days ÷ days of the 12-month access, rounded down to the full cent. Example model A with seven of twelve discount months left: about €39.99 − €4.00 × 7/12. You see the exact amount in the order summary before purchase.
- From 12-month access to monthly subscription: You can only take out a monthly subscription after the 12-month access has ended. Because the 12-month access runs for twelve months, the discount period is then over; the regular price applies.
- Break: If you cancel your monthly subscription and take out a new one within the discount period, the discount applies to the monthly payments you make before the end of the discount period.
- In total you receive at most twelve discounted months (a 12-month access counts with its discounted share). After the end of the discount period there is no further discount, not even through several switches.
Further rules.
- A partner code only applies to an account's first paid Pro purchase.
- At most one partner code applies per customer; discounts cannot be combined.
- Partners can also use their own code for their own first purchase; the same rules apply.
- Partner codes only apply to purchases on the web.
2. Friend codes
- Friend codes are issued exclusively by the operator of Padelcademy, individually and by hand, for a specific account. There is no fixed total number, and there is no entitlement to a friend code.
- A friend code unlocks twelve months of Pro free of charge, counted from redemption.
- No payment details are requested for redemption. No subscription is created, there is no automatic payment and no renewal. After twelve months the free rules apply again; your stored data is kept.
- A friend code is tied to the account for which it was issued and can only be redeemed once; a free account is required. We check redemptions on the server and reject other redemptions.
- As long as you have paid Pro access, you cannot redeem a friend code — not even if you have already cancelled the renewal of your monthly subscription.
- Further friend codes do not extend a running friend-code period.
- A friend code does not count as a first paid Pro purchase. You can therefore still use a partner code later with your first paid purchase.
- We do not pay anyone a commission for friend codes.
3. Data
For a redemption we store the code, your account and the time; for partner codes also the start of your discount period and the payments on which discount and commission are calculated. Partners only receive aggregated figures — no names, email addresses or individual purchases; their report only shows details from five payments upwards. More on this in the privacy policy.
